Monday

Life skills – look at the pictures of making toast and sequence them in the correct order. Write a sentence to describe what is happening in each picture.

Reading – choose a favourite book to share with an adult or read a book with an adult.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects.

Medium – cut out the numbers and then glue them in the correct order.

Hard – count in 10s starting from 10 and colour in each multiple of 10.

 

Tuesday

English: read the PowerPoint of Jack and Jill. Ask questions about the nursery rhyme.

Easy – sequence the nursery rhyme of Jack and Jill in the right order by cutting out the pictures and matching them to the correct numeral in the box.

Medium – read the questions and match them to the Communicate in Print answers.

Hard – draw a picture of Jack and Jill. Write 2 sentences to describe what the nursery rhyme is about.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects.

Medium – counting in different steps to complete the snake.

Hard – 10 times tables activity worksheet.

Geography – look at the Aerial views PowerPoint. Pupils to name what each object is. Then match the Communicate in Print labels to the pictures.

Cooking – make sausage rolls according to the recipe.

 

Wednesday

English – read the nursery rhyme of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

  1. Make a star using craft materials using the template.
  2. Sequence the cards in the order to retell the nursery rhyme of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Colour the cards.

 

Maths:

Easy - count up to 10 objects.

Medium – cut out the numbers and arrange them from 1 – 10.

Hard – counting in 10s from 10 to 100 and cut out and glue the numbers in the correct sequence.

Science – make a poster about recycling.

Art - make a 2D paper house using the template.

 

Thursday

English – read the nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumoty and then ask questions from the PowerPoint.

Easy – cut out the pictures and glue them in the correct order to retell the nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty.

Medium – cut out the pictures and glue them in the correct order to retell the nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty. Match the Communicate in Print sentences to the pictures.

Hard - cut out the pictures and glue them in the correct order to retell the nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty. Then write a sentence to go with each picture.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects.

Medium – cut out the numbers and glue them in the correct order.

Hard – count in 10s forwards and backwards on the worksheet.

PHSE – look at the Communicate in Print words and then decide whether the person is a stranger or a safe adult. Glue the words on the correct part of the worksheet.

 

Friday

English – read the nursery rhyme of Old MacDonald had a farm. Discuss and ask questions from the PowerPoint.

Easy – over-write the words to do with the animals.

Medium – match the Communicate in Print words to the pictures and copy-write the words.

Hard – write a sentence about each of the animals,

RE – read the PowerPoint about the Lost Sheep.

  1. Make stick puppets of a sheep and a shepherd.
  2. Colour page 4 of the Lost Sheep pictures.

DT – look at the pictures of robots. Use junk modelling to make a robot.
