Monday

Life skills – Look at the PowerPoint about hand washing. Read through and discuss. Cut out the pictures of washing hands and sequence them in the correct order.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

Maths:

Easy – match the numbers to the correct part of the caterpillar.

Medium – addition to 20 worksheet.

Hard – count in 5’s and colour each multiple of 5 on the 1 – 100 number square e.g. colour 5, 10, 15 etc,

 

Tuesday

English – use the link to hear the story of the Secret Sky Garden :  The Secret Sky Garden - YouTube

Maths:

Easy – match the numerals to the amount of objects there are on each card.

Medium – addition to 10 worksheet.

Hard – 5 times tables worksheet. Complete the worksheet.

Reading – choose a favourite book and hear an adult read the story to you or read it to the adult.

Cooking – make and decorate (when cool) Gingerbread men.

 

Wednesday

English – hear the story of the Secret Sky Garden again using the link. The Secret Sky Garden - YouTube

Make a garden using sensory materials from your own garden such as twigs, grass, flowers etc. Make in a tray and take a photograph of it.

Maths:

Easy – match the numerals to the amount of objects on the cards.
Medium – addition up to 20 worksheet.

Hard – counting in 5’s worksheet.

Reading – choose a favourite book and hear an adult read the story to you or read it to the adult.

Art – Look at pictures of buildings on the computer or IPad.

  1. Use bright poster paint or watercolour to add colour to different building templates. Use the art wed document.
  2. Tape and seal boxes using masking tape (encourage pupils to try to pinch and tare the masking tape or use scissors for those who require them) use papier-mâché to strengthen the boxes

 

Thursday

English – watch the story of the Secret Sky Garden using the link The Secret Sky Garden - YouTube

Make a kite from paper or card. Decorate your kite and add some string. Fly your kite in the garden. Take a photo of your kite.

Maths:

Easy – match the numerals to the amount of objects on the cards.

Medium – adding to 20 worksheet.

Hard – counting in 5’s worksheet.

Science – make play dough using the recipe. You will need this for Friday’s English work.

DT – make a pig piggy bank using a plastic bottle. Follow the instructions.

 

Friday

English – watch the story of the Secret Sky Gardeb using the link The Secret Sky Garden - YouTube

Make some flowers from the play dough that you made from yesterday.

Reading – read a favourite book to an adult or hear an adult read the book to you.

Science – get some rubbish from the recycling bin such as plastic bottles, cardboard boxes etc. Then sort the rubbish according to what it is made of using the communicate in print cards. Take a photo of your rubbish.

Use the topic Friday worksheet and sort the things according to what recycling container they go in. Take a photo of your work.
