Monday

Life skills – cut out the little pictures and decide whether the food is healthy or unhealthy.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Medium – count up to 20 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Hard – adult to say a number from 0 – 99 and child to write it down.

 

Tuesday

English – read the story of the Little Red Hen. Discuss what the story is about. Colour some of the Little Red Hen templates.

Geography – visit different rooms in your house. Say what the room is and what it is used for. Take photos of the different rooms.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Medium – count up to 20 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Hard – adult to say a number from 0 – 99 and child to write it down.

Cooking – make sponge cakes according to the recipe.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

 

Wednesday

English – read the story of the Little Red Hen again.

Easy – match the symbol words and the pictures for the Little Red Hen.

Medium – read the symbol story and answer the questions.

Hard – answer the questions.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Medium – count up to 20 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Hard – adult to say a number from 0 – 99 and child to write it down.

Art – make a New Year Banner.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

 

 

Thursday

English – read the story of the Little Red Hen again.

Easy – cut round the shapes of the different Little Red Hen characters and settings.

Medium – write a label for each part of the picture.

Hard – write the story of the Little Red Hen.

Maths:

Easy – count up to 10 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Medium – count up to 20 objects and write the number of objects that you have.

Hard – adult to say a number from 0 – 99 and child to write it down.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

PHSE – match the pictures of the people who help us with the captions.

 

 

Friday

English – read the story of the Little Red Hen again. Match the symbol sentences with the pictures to describe how to make bread.

RE – read and discuss the Creation Story. Then colour the Earth on the worksheet.

Reading – choose a favourite book to read or share with an adult.

Science – read the story of The Messy Magpie. Then collect different items like twigs, leaves, soil etc and make a messy Magpie nest.
