Dear parents/carers

Hope you are all ok, in cedar class this term we have been learning about the topic ‘Is it shiny’

We have learnt about different celebrations Diwali, bonfire night and would have been learning about Christmas. Last week we started listening to a new book called ‘the little owl and the star’.

It’s about a little owl that goes on a journey to follow a star and bumps into the different characters of the nativity scene, the shepherds, angels, wise men, Mary, joseph and baby Jesus and We have also been learning our Christmas songs. This week we would have been reading a book called ‘the jolly postman Christmas’, were the postman goes around the village delivering letters. On here you will find different activities for your child to complete. In class we would be starting to make our Christmas decorations and presents but as you are all at home I ask that your child tries to complete 3 different activities a day if possible.

If you find it hard to get your child to complete these activities I ask that as long as they are engaged for 15/20 mins 3 times a day. Whether that be reading, iPad games or video or painting, when doing any activities, please take pictures date and name it and when coming back into School please send it in.
