Monday:

Maths; Watch the video about 2D shapes. Can you find shapes around the house?

PHSE; How do we keep ourselves clean? Talk about personal hygiene routines including keeping our teeth healthy.

PE; Aiming skills

Extension tasks: Write a diary of your activities.

 

Tuesday:             

English; listen to the story together. Talk about the characters.  

Food Tech; Make a hot drink together. Use the instruction sheet to help you.

Topic; Watch the short clip. Talk about why we wear poppies. If you have the materials, try to make your own poppy.

Extension tasks: Write a diary of your activities.

 

Wednesday:

Life Skills; Practise writing your name clearly with a pencil.

Science; Look around the home to see what is a solid matter and what is liquid. Can you sort some items?

English; Look at the pictures. How have the characters changed? How do you know they are older?

Extension tasks: Write a diary of your activities.

 

Thursday:

Maths; Watch the video about 2D shapes. Can you find shapes around the house?

English; Mr Thorne Does Phonics – n. What is around the house which has the n sound?

PE; Aiming skills

Extension tasks: Write a diary of your activities.

 

Friday:

English; Mr Thorne Does Phonics – p. What is around the house which has the p sound?

Performing Arts; Listen to some of the music. Can you make your own music to accompany a war film?

Life Skills; Practise putting on your school uniform. Can you do it independently from start to finish?
